What is a virtual barcode?

A virtual barcode represents the information on an invoice as a series of numbers. The virtual barcode contains the recipient's account number, the due date and the amount to be paid.

The virtual barcode found in email messages sent from FloMembers makes it easier to pay your invoice online.

1. Copy the virtual barcode from the email (press Ctrl + C or right-click and select Copy).
2. When paying your invoice online, select "Pay with barcode", "Read barcode" or similar functionality. Paste the virtual barcode you copied into the empty field (press Ctrl + V or right-click and select Paste).
3. The information on the payment form will then be updated automatically (some online banks require you to press Enter or manually enter the payee as well before the information is updated).
